Bluebird Box
To help the survivors of suicide loss in the Flathead County, “Bluebird Boxes” was formed. These boxes are a care package filled with comforting items and information regarding local support for a suicide loss, a list of survivors willing to talk, support groups in the area, and a list of therapists. The Bluebird Box includes literature on surviving a suicide loss as well as literature for children coping with grief. It was developed by Jude Cauble who is a SOLAS facilitator.
Tamarack Grief Resource Center
Tamarack Grief Resource Center strengthens and honors individuals, families, and communities throughout their journey with grief. With offices in Missoula, Kalispell, and Browning, they help individuals and communities navigate grief and loss through counseling, grief camps and retreats, school-based programs, support groups, community workshops, and professional education.
Nate Chute Foundation
The Nate Chute Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing suicide in western Montana through education, outreach, and training. NCF offers evidence-based training and education to area schools and organizations to help identify suicidal behavior and build resiliency, as well as providing financial assistance for professional counseling to those at risk of suicide. The Nate Chute Foundation was founded in 1999, and has been expanding to meet the needs of our community ever since. https://www.natechutefoundation.org/
